Children & Youth

The Ormondroyd Foundation supports organizations and initiatives that work with children and youth facing challenging circumstances, including but not limited to economic hardship, instability or unsafe environments, health or developmental challenges, and limited access to education or opportunity.

Support is directed toward efforts that prioritize dignity, long-term impact, and measurable improvement in the lives of young people.

For many children, circumstances beyond their control shape what feels possible. The absence of stability, guidance, or access can limit not only opportunity, but belief in what their future can be.

The Ormondroyd Foundation supports efforts that help change that trajectory — providing the structure, resources, and encouragement needed for young people to grow, be healthy, build confidence, and move forward. At its core, this work is about restoring possibility and ensuring that circumstance does not define a child’s future.

The Foundation seeks to support initiatives that create meaningful, lasting change in the lives of children and youth, including:

Stability & Safe Environments

Efforts that provide safe housing, structured environments, and support systems for children experiencing instability or unsafe conditions.

Health & Well-Being

Access to physical and mental health resources, nutrition, and programs that support overall well-being.

Opportunity & Enrichment

Exposure to new experiences — including sports, arts, technology, and career pathways — that broaden perspective and unlock potential.

Animals

The Ormondroyd Foundation is committed to the welfare of companion and disadvantaged animals, particularly those that have experienced neglect, abandonment, mistreatment, or displacement.

Areas of interest include animal rescue and shelter support, rehabilitation and rehoming efforts, advocacy for humane treatment and care, and programs that reduce suffering and improve outcomes for vulnerable animals.

Companion animals and those in rescue situations often depend on others for their care, safety, and well-being. When that care is absent, they are left without protection or a path forward.

The Foundation supports organizations that provide rescue, rehabilitation, and a path forward for animals in need. This work reflects a broader responsibility to care for the vulnerable and to support efforts that restore safety, dignity, and well-being.

The Ormondroyd Foundation is a private charitable foundation recognized as a tax-exempt organization under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.
